MetaMatrix: MetaMatrix Server
The MetaMatrix Server™ is enterprise-class infrastructure software for
information integration. The MetaMatrix System provides a platform through
which an enterprise can manage and gain uniform, real-time access to disparate
information systems.
The MetaMatrix Server provides a standard interface to disparate information
sources. Legacy, structured, and unstructured data sources are all seamlessly
integrated in a virtual database without moving any data. Using Structured
Query Language (SQL), enterprise applications and Web services gain real-time
access to disparate information sources through the MetaMatrix Server's SOAP,
JDBC/ODBC, and Java interfaces.
