The CyberGuard Firewall/VPN appliances are built upon a hardened operating system that employs advanced Mandatory Access Control and Multi-Level Security technologies. The hybrid architecture employs packet filtering, dynamic (stateful) inspection, and advanced application-proxy technologies to secure all seven layers of the OSI model, as well as the bi-directional stream of packets that connect users and systems across a network.
