FIPS 140-2 Training

The CEAL offers FIPS 140-2 lectures and training sessions to prepare vendor teams for design, production, and documentation of FIPS 140-2 compliant devices. Lectures may cover any desired topics within CEAL expertise, including the following common emphases:

• Digital Signatures and Public Key Cryptography
• ITU X.509 Version 3 Public Key Infrastructure
• Conformance Testing of Cryptographic Algorithms
• FIPS 140-2 and Cryptographic Module Validation
• Level 1 FIPS 140-2 Cryptographic Module Requirements
• Level 2 FIPS 140-2 Cryptographic Module Requirements
• Level 3 FIPS 140-2 Cryptographic Module Requirements
• Level 4 FIPS 140-2 Cryptographic Module Requirements

Should a vendor desire lectures or training sessions, the CEAL would provide a qualified CEAL instructor under the agreements specified in a quotation. CEAL training services are offered on both hourly and per lecture basis depending on vendor requirements. Training sessions may be limited to a specific number of attendees. Travel and reproduction costs are typically charged as actual expenses.
