Experience

1. CEAL staff participated on the team that developed FIPS 140-1.
2. CEAL staff helped to develop the Cryptographic Module Validation Program.
3. CEAL is one of the original validated testing laboratories established in June 1995.
4. CEAL staff has experience as cryptographic product developers and implementers.
5. CEAL staff participated in the development of several U.S. Government cryptographic standards including DES, DSA, SHA-1 and AES.
6. CEAL staff received the Department of Commerce Gold Medal for its efforts on the NIST AES team.
7. CEAL has validated over 50 cryptographic modules at all levels.
8. CEAL has validated the first Level 2 smart card systems.
