History

One of the original co-founders of CygnaCom, Dr. Santosh Chokhani returned as President in 2007. Dr Chokhani is a leader in the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Information Security industry. He is an internationally renowned expert in PKI, having made numerous contributions to the X.509 and related standards in the areas of policy, security and interoperability.

CygnaCom experts have been members of the NSA Technical Review Board as well as advisors to the DoD PKI Program since its inception. CygnaCom provides information assurance and PKI consulting to the US Department of Defense, NIST, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, US Department of State and commercial entities globally.

Founded in 1994, CygnaCom Solutions was purchased in 2000 and is a wholly owned, subsidiary of Entrust, Inc, a global leader in information assurance and identity management products. Entrust is a US corporation, headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
